Kolo is a network for hands-on and traditional therapies. Spaces — spas, retreats, yoga and movement studios, therapists’ houses — have a place of their own in it: a pin on the map, a circle, and their people beside them. The pilot starts in Lisbon, in October.
An advert says the same thing to everybody. A pin on Kolo answers each person differently — and that is where the business is. The same corner of Lisbon, on four phones:
Marta, who runs Alpendre and gives massageShe opens the Atlas on the Offering face and sees the demand around the house: eleven people looking for massage this week, 500 m away, 1.4 km, 2.1 km. She knows who is looking before anyone knocks.
Sofia, no account, coming out of the metroShe opens the map as anyone sees it, no account, no sign-up, and taps «Body». Alpendre's pin lights up, name beside it. One tap opens your page; another, the people of the house. She reaches you with no search and no advert on the way.
Tomás, a therapist, needs a room with a table on TuesdaysHe types «table». The spaces that have one answer in full ink — Alpendre among them — and the rest fall to half-tone. He joins the circle, and the room that stood empty on Tuesdays has someone who wants it.
Ingrid, who teaches Pilates in your roomThe same streets, her dot exactly where Marta's was — and other people lit, because her kolo is another. Alpendre stays in her row, beside the people: your therapists appear with you, and the space never touches their profiles.
Four people, four reasons for the same pin. None of them paid for position, and no booking leaves a commission with anyone.
Alpendre is a simulated space for this presentation: the address, the people and the numbers are rehearsal. The app is real.
Each offer is a ring around the triangle of your kind — that is what lights the pin for the right searches. Equipment never goes on the pin: it lives on your page and in search, for whoever needs a room.
Two rows of pills, and the pin redrawing itself«Only a steward writes this.» On top, what the space offers — massage, shiatsu, pilates, breathwork — and with every tap the pin gains a ring, in plain sight. A protected title stays out: the person holds it, and the space names her.
The space's pageYour logo, the address, «what is practised here» in each domain's colour, «what the space has» — treatment room with table, group room, rooms for rent, garden, step-free — and who works here, each with their rating.
A place circle is claimed by someone from the house, by name — never run by a faceless brand. It holds three things, and brings your people with it:
Four people care for this space«Room 2 free on Tuesday afternoons.» «Breathwork workshop — Saturday, 10 am.» Posts from the house, for those who chose to hear it — equipment, knowledge, support — with no feed deciding for you.
«Attends at Alpendre»On each of your therapists' pages, one line says where she practises — and opens your page. She writes it, never the space: and that is how a search for Ingrid ends at your door.
Retreats, workshops, open classes — announced to people who chose to hear your house, not to a feed that decides for you.
The room free on Tuesdays, the table you lend, the tank rented by the hour. The small economy that fills a house.
Your circle points to your own site and your own bookings. Kolo does not stand in the middle — zero commissions, from anyone.
Your symbol is your face on the map and in the circle — the house appears as itself. And these are the first houses we want at the table in October:
No logo, or none that fits inside a circle? There is a collection of emblems painted by hand, ink on paper, for whoever looks after the space to choose from.
Your therapists already have Instagram, WhatsApp and a phone — their visibility does not begin here. What begins here is new for you: on Kolo, they appear with you. Their pages say where they practise, your pin lights up to searches your house answers, and your circle is the common ground no social network gives them.
Your pin lights up because it answers a search, never because you paid. It is enforced in the code, and that is why lighting up is worth something.
Zero, from anyone. We have no interest whatsoever in diverting a booking anywhere — which is something no other platform can tell you.
A venue never creates or manages therapists’ profiles. What a venue does is better: it gives them common ground, and it stands beside them.
Your circle speaks to people who chose to listen. Seven posts a week, most recent first.
And the two quotas are the right gesture: a space subscription includes the quota of two people from your house — a benefit you give to those who work with you, visible and revocable, that buys position for nobody. Retention is built with generosity in plain sight.
Two therapist quotas (€4 each) + the space’s circle (€4). The yearly price is two months free. No commissions, no extras, no «featured» slots for sale — that is the whole price. During the pilot, nobody is charged anything. And after the pilot, the spaces that took part get six months free — the fee only starts then.
Do you have a circle — of doulas, of breathwork, of your neighbourhood? Bring the whole circle. → The circles, in the therapists’ presentation
We are choosing the founding spaces of Lisbon, Sintra and Almada for the October pilot. Each one gets its claim link by hand — the circle is born when someone from the house picks it up.
